A female version who literally kicks scum to the curb. Born in an alternate universe to the same parents with the same mango powers, Ms. Shabash was the perfect gift for International Women’s Day, brought to you by the fabulous people from Mighty Punch Studios.

Oftentimes, when a toddler watches cartoons on television or YouTube, you'd find them surfing through different international channels, from which they eventually pick up their language, lifestyle, and culture. Samir Asran Rahman, who loved cartoons and comics from a very young age, wanted to see Bangladesh having its own popular cartoon characters and heroes like every other country has.

We're almost done with November, and sweater weather is still nowhere in sight. Say what you will, climate change deniers, but this isn't normal. Even though the days are at least bearable, and the evenings even pleasant, 2016 has been hot enough for us to not want to weather another summer like the one we had this year. Of all the notable works done on visual media in our country, Shabash by Mighty Punch Studio came as a welcome surprise to me. From the tone of storytelling to the beautiful visuals, Mighty Punch Studios paint a unique stroke.
Captain Kathal in Baper Rasta premiered

Mighty Punch Studios, a renowned comic book studio, debuted their animated film, Captain Kathal in Baper Rasta, yesterday on their Facebook page. The film features the short-tempered, yet lovable superhero, Captain Kathal, who is frustrated with traffic and decides to take matters into his own hands. “Captain Kathal was introduced in the Shabash comic series in a cameo,” said Samir Asran Rahman, the director of the film.
